Fifteen years Stands heavy on her shoulders To many emotions she has felt To many tears she has cried Why has she almost died? Fifteen years Weighs down upon her breast To young to have lost her innocence To young to have played games with hearts dangled upon a web of lies Fifteen years Has put poison in her body With the things that she has taken To destroy her soul Fifteen years lies caked in the layers of makeup on her face Using it to hide As a mask to shut out the world Fifteen years Has sinned to much Seen to much Felt to much Been to much Fifteen years is not strong so she cries tears of fifteen years.
